ACCRINGTON is a small industrial town in Lancashire in the North West of England
Accrington's most prominent landmarks are the stone railway viaduct, the Town Hall and the Market Hall.
Accrington town centre has changed substantially in recent years, with the arrival of new shopping precincts in an attempt to lure shoppers from the surrounding larger centres of Blackburn and Burnley.
The Lancashire hills and moorlands are on the doorstep with plenty of history within, including the likes of Pendle Hill and the tales of witchcraft surrounding it.
